Congratulations to the ATI Researchers who recently received CIHR Foundation and Project Grants

The results for the 2016 CIHR Foundation Grant competition and the new 2016 CIHR Project Grant competition were recently announced and we congratulate the following ATI members for their success in these competitions (which only had a 13% success rate):

CIHR FOUNDATION GRANT RECIPIENTS

Dr. Elahi Shokrollah: “The molecular mechanisms that regulate immunological ‘exhaustion’ in chronic conditions.”

CIHR PROJECT GRANT RECIPIENTS

Dr. Colin C. Anderson: “Co-inhibitory control of tolerance checkpoints”

Dr. Gregory S. Korbutt: “Translational strategies for the clinical transplantation of human islets and mesenchymal stem cells.”

We would also like to congratulate Dr. Lynne-Marie Postovit, from CRINA, on her project grant “Role of selective translation in breast cancer plasticity”.  If we have inadvertently omitted any other recipients, please let me know and we will post that information as well.
