Join us April 7th, for the 2016 Distinguished Immunologist Lecture, given by Dr. Dario Vignali

Dr. Dario Vignali is a professor at the University of Pittsburgh. He is an expert on Regulatory T cells, particularly in their activation and signalling, and is also working to understand how TRegs are involved in Type I Diabetes and Cancer. Please join us for his lecture: Inhibitory Mechanisms in Cancer and Autoimmunity at 11:00 AM on Thursday, April 7, in Classroom F. This event is open to all members of the university community, so share this information with any of your colleagues.

Furthermore, we (the Distinguished Immunology Organizing Committee) will soon be sending out emails regarding a lunch with Dr. Vignali for students and post-docs, and an evening dinner where there will be an opportunity to socialize with other scientists and Dr. Vignali.

Finally, please mark your calendars for a journal club on Thursday, March 31at 12:00 PM where members of the organizing committee will be providing a brief overview of some of Dr. Vignali’s papers.
