Join us April 7th, for The 2016 Distinguished Immunologist lecture, given by Dr. Dario Vignali

Dr. Vignali is a professor at the University of Pittsburgh. He is an expert on Regulatory T cells, particularly in their activation and signalling, and is also working to understand how TRegs are involved in Type I Diabetes and Cancer. Please join us for his lecture:  Inhibitory Mechanisms in Cancer and Autoimmunity at 11:00 AM on Thursday, April 7, in Classroom F. This event is open to all members of the university community, so share this information with any of your colleagues. Attached is a poster containing this information as well.

Furthermore, we (the Distinguished Immunology Organizing Committee) will soon be sending out emails regarding a lunch with Dr. Vignali for students and post-docs, and an evening dinner where there will be an opportunity to socialize with other scientists and Dr. Vignali.

Finally, please mark your calendars for a journal club on Thursday, March 31at 12:00 PM where members of the organizing committee will be providing a brief overview of some of Dr. Vignali’s papers.
